September in Lucca

The most famous festival of Lucca is the fair of Santa Croce, one of the most striking events in Tuscany.
Holy Cross is held in Lucca on the evening of 13 September, is a procession that crosses a large part of the streets of Lucca, all lit by candles and evocative lighting.

At the Luminara will take part the President of the Republic of Panama, Mr. Riccardo Martinelli, which has origin of Lucca.

After the event there will be a magnificent spectacle with fireworks.
